When’s Kako back?
A front 6 of Kako, Nguyen, El-Achker, May, Caddy and Edwards is perfectly fine by me.
Good mix of smalls and talls. It might not be exactly what you’d prefer but I suspect everyone on blitz would be happy enough with this and would certainly prefer to whatever that bonehead serves up.
Mind you, I think Nguyen might be better suited to a role as a defender. Not that his kicking is bad but it mightn’t be polished enough to play forward.

I’m not sure Brad knows what structure to play. He seems to go very tall a lot, which isn’t really great for modern footy.

If the rumours are true and that Gresham has a games trigger in his contact for another 800k year to be added, then I don’t care if Huss can’t run out the game or if we are too tall, both are better than another rort of a year for Gresham

Yeah I like this kid. Get games into him. A monster pre-season is all he needs for him to become a seriously good small forward.

14 goals in his last 4 VFL games. That’s enough form to warrant a senior call-up. I get they might think he’s not quite there fitness wise for AFL footy, but get him in because the rest of our small forwards outside of Kako are absolute garbage.

It was ridiculous that they selected guelfi ahead of him last night. Nguyen should have stayed in too but imagine they’ll swing him back to cover McGrath now

Could be lethal once he gets to afl level conditioning. I won’t be my hopes up as we have been burnt before (Davey)
Don’t think Davey ever showed this level of form at VFL level so not really similar comparison.

Both Davey’s were hyped to be the solution to our small forward woes, both failed. They’re not the only ones in the area to let us down either tbh.
