He’s hot.
Hes one of the few who has been good all season. one of the few trying his guts out when everyone around him is going mid pace. he would be one of the first picked every week for me.
Cheers…i found it.

Interesting piece of play…
Parish HB’s to Guelfi at approx 58m out.
A no bounce shot at goal will be just inside the 50, and on a 40ish degree angle, its probably a less than 50/50 proposition for Guelf.
Once he elects to bounce, Doedee leaves his man in the pocket (Perkins) to pressure the presumed kick for goal.
Frampton sees this and dangerously peels off his man (Phillips) to cover Perkins for Doedee.
Probably questionable, as Perkins would have been on the boundary.
Phillips is left with a smaller Crows player scampering back trying to cover for Frampton.
Geulf had the right idea by kicking it to the free man in a good spot, but Doedee’s pressure caused the kick just long and Phillips couldnt take the half chance.
He had a fantastic bit of play on the wing late in the third (about 7 minutes to go) where he smothered, buttered up, drew the man, laid off in board to Caldwell and then totally ironed out the crow that game at him to clean him up and turned back to admire his handy work.
His tape is worth watching on stats pro
I cant find the Pressure Rating stats.
I think its a Champion Data thing.
@Paul_Peos might know ?
Heard Mark Bickley on 5AA bemoaning the Crows small forwards were poor in this area yesterday (except for McHenry).
Wondered how our guys compare ?
I love him for this. I wish he produced it more consistently as if he does he’s something we sorely lack in the 22. Hope he continues to improve and become more consistent.
I don’t know about the rating but Smith Perkins and guelfi all had good pressure act and tackle numbers
Just saw this on his stats for the game
Wtf do they classify as a one percenter??
Clearly in need of some major refining
if every player on our list did the little things Guelfi did we’d be top 4
Since his early days I’ve loved him, he chases, he smothers, he shepherds, he goes for the goal from 40 out instead of passing, he does everything you want a football player on your team to do
Always felt he was underrated here
I think pressure index is an overall team thing and a champion data special.
You get pressure acts in the AFL app, though. And they seem to match what you’re saying.
It is Champion Data.
This is the points system they use.
From memory, Bicks said McHenry’s was 49, but the other Crows small forwards were quite low.
Interested to see our guys.
Yeah well off the top of my head he had at least 3 smothers and 1 spoil so that stat is either wrong or the definition of 1% is broken
How do you watch it now? They have ruined the stats page.
Seems fine in the app
Ah yes you can still watch it in the app. thats good. for some reason its been removed from the website along with almost every filter and a bunch of other useful features.
He’ll never be a superstar and probably isnt best 22 with a full list but one thing you can never do is question his effort. Plays every game like its his last
And the coaches will always pick him for that
Ham should learn from Guelfi
disagree, every coach loves a player like him on their team, players like that who do the blue collar stuff win finals
Blitz knows everything, now maybe they may read about Ham on here and not take so long about it
