#37 Nic Martin - all of the extension, pls

Also don’t think it had anything to do with his slide out of bounds.

It’s wasn’t a tackle, wasnt a hip and shoulder and he was at tne boundary line. There was no contest for the ball and it was intentional. This ■■■■ poor act lead to his serious injury. This is tne dog ■■■■ we don’t want to see in junior footy as parents would jump fences. Deserves 3-4 weeks

Add to it the pathetic commentary from Huddo & that Sicilian fennel loving Brad Johnson. Saying they want to see more of that. ■■■■■, both have heads like Mac trucks

If lucky.

Of course it was intentional - he pushed him in the field of play over the boundary and Nic’s knee buckled. The pearl clutching and asking for weeks is honestly ridiculous.

Agreed.

A lot of nuffies get emotional about the incident because of the result but it was in the field of play, wasn’t high contact etc.

If it was over the boundary line then, yes he should cop it but it wasn’t… just unfortunate.

What I didn’t like was mansell mouthing off to him when he was on the ground.

Common man it’s 14th v 17th. Couldn’t be a more meaningless game and you’re mouthing off someone who’s injured on the ground (and Nic Martin of all people. Not like he is a lippy character himself)

Not saying mansell should be in trouble for mouthing off, but just be better and have some nous about the situation

I think everyone’s ■■■■■■ cos Martin is one of our best, and now next year is also ruined. Which is fair enough. But lacking a bit of objectivity as a result.

There was really nothing in it as far as the push goes. But please, carry on with your victim mentality.

He gave him a huge shove right on the line, what could happen other than injury, the fence, concrete all in front of Martin. An intentional act deserving of a big penalty. Do you wnat this to happen everytime a player is on the boundary line?

It was well in the field of play and he was pushing him out of bounds to kill the play

He didn’t hit the fence. There is nothing wrong with it.

Absolutely nothing in it

Durham raced in, lost the push and shove easily so he gave up immediately, and that was that.

No it wasn’t. Look where they are and contact and full force hasn’t been made yet

Go back and watch, he gave him a huge shove that resulted in him ending up in an area that was dangerous to the player. The shove had zero to do with the bloke getting the ball.

That’s clearly not where first contact was made lol

So? Martin had the ball and was in the field so fair play.

FMD I can’t believe people have a problem with it. He literally did nothing wrong.

Just unfortunate Martin did his knee.

Just an alternate screenshot which shows the contact a good metre in from the boundary

I have watched.

He was absolutely allowed to do what he did. It was in the field and Martin didn’t end up in the fence.

Big deal. Stop sooking.

Inside the field of play
Shove similar to many every game
Not high contact
Nothing to answer to at tribunal

Martin was on the boundary line.
A finger push puts him over & kills the play.
Mansell pushes him as hard as he can out of play towards the fence… to make Martin “earn it” in the old parlance.
Then verbals him.
Who’d have thought trying to stop before hitting a fence whilst skating on the harder & slippery fake grass boundary rim might turn out badly?

Rhyan “dog” Mansell may not deserve a suspension but definitely deserves some karma…

Exactly and Martin is about to handball so can see why mansell did what he did.

Obviously it was a free so isn’t legal, but no way should it be anything more than that

Brad is responsible for a lot of things, but not this.
