He pushed him out of bounds to kill the play, a play which has been done for 100 years. Happens 10 times a game. Itâs a shame Nic got injured from, but absolutely nothing wrong with it. Youâre more caught up with the hypotheticals and what ifs than anything.

If the push had resulted in Martin hitting his head on the surface and getting a concussion, it would absolutely be a reportable offense.
Thankfully, he only did his ACL so itâs all good.

Didnât have to win the ball. Youâre allowed to push a player with the ball out of bounds to force a stoppage. Literally nothing wrong with it, and our players do it all the time too, as they should.
