I like it that both Reddog and Martin have come out swinging. Need more of this from the playing group and leadership.

Reckon McGrath would be next he’s the VC

I agree with the first part of your post. Contact type ACL’s seem to be less likely to reoccur.

Love Marto

Gonna be a sad day when he requests a trade to Collingwood in 2028

Didn’t know he had it in him to stand up like that, maybe he didn’t originally, and maybe that’s part of the change Hodge and others say that they’re seeing.

Hope I’m right.

In other good news, I hear that Martin is progressing rather well with his knee and is ahead of schedule compared to a standard acl.

Pies might be bottom four by then

I imagine he is fastidious in his rehab but please don’t rush him back too soon.

There is research that supports this

Could be looking at a return around round 10 or before then?

I’d reckon that Martin and Redman’s comments have made Merrett’s position, at least as captain, totally untenable.

His surgery was only 7 weeks ago. It’s a bit early to be saying he’s ahead of schedule yet.

I also heard yesterday from a good source that he’s going well post op (within the context of its recency).

And yet

People with a lot of experience in the field have said it.

He can be early for 7 weeks. You can be ahead of schedule at any point in the schedule.
Doesn’t mean it ends ahead of schedule though, which I suspect is what you are really saying.
