There’s no shame in missing a set shot if you’ve followed what you’ve practiced, but when you do it continuously across the season, it’s clear you haven’t prepared properly. Develop a kicking action, follow the kicking action.
Duursma, who isn’t even a forward, has clearly done this. He’s practiced a process, and he follows it every damn time he has a shot on goal.

These are the type of game where as a group not playing their best… Need blokes like Langford to kick those two 30m shots. Thats the difference between winning ugly and not. Same as last week. Really hurts the team.

Typifies our team. Fails under pressure and hasn’t got the resilience or strength of an elite or even high grade footballer. It’s Essendon of the last 15 + years.

Has not been the same since hip injury. Can’t jump. Can’t hit top pace and has no penetration in his kicking. Have got NFI why he is playing.
All we have achieved is to now completely destroy his confidence. Ditto Redman and Perkins.

He would be a great fit for Sydney, GWS, Freo, Blues etc.
We need elite youngsters that can pack mark and kick like Coleman

He has had 1 very good season in 9. Rest have been poor to average. This club gives him a 4 year contract. No wonder we are a mess.

He’s been absolutley fcking woeful since the bye.
Kicked 28 goals from the first 11 games.
Has kicked 9 goals from 8 games since.
When we look back on reasons why we fell apart he’s just as much to blame as anyone.
