This guy is seriously talented. Sticks out like a sore thumb in our side.
What utter rubbish. He’s still capable of 40-50 goals a year.
Sure he is
100%. If he doesn’t get selected, I’ll join the anti Brad brigade and riot at the hangar.
He was our best forward yesterday?
Yep, and entirely my point. Our best forward is on the downhill slope and clearly not as good as he was. We have very few , if any alternatives.
Sure it was a practice match, but I thought that is where you try out game plans and patterns. Nothing I saw gave me any new tactics.
Not sure what vision you’re seeing. I thought he was a big plus yesterday. Kicked 3 against Tigers. 2 against Saints but importantly work very hard up the field. Had 20 Disp(more than half were contested) and 10 score inv.
Would easily be in my top 3 votes with likely Johnson and Blakiston.
Shown every bit of a 40+ high forward goal scorer to me in his first two games.
He is squarely in this prime,
Not sure why he wouldn’t be capable of kicking 40 again.
Injures have been the bit limiter on him the past two years.
Agree. I’ve got significant concerns about our forward line, Langford the least of my concerns.
Wright is a stop gap, hes not really the answer but with Draper gone we have no choices.
Caddy still has lots to develop. I thought he was beaten in the air yesterday, still getting caught under the ball and needs to learn to push back on his opponent at the right time to bring ball to ground.
From yesterday’s game Caddy is in his element when he can out run and out work his opponent. High half forward looks like he is made for that at this stage in his career. To tall for the mids and too fast for defenders.
Can he win the Rising Star award this year? He isn’t in any of the markets and I thought he only played 9 games last year. What am I missing?
Brad Scott tax.
100% agree. Of the senior players/leaders he was the pick of the bunch and would be the first tall(ish) forward getting picked for round 1. can’t argue with the gameplan thing though; lots of long bombs again; I swear Essendon must have replays of 70s/80s English old Division 1 soccer playing on repeat at the Hangar.
Yep, it’s like watching 1980s Wimbledon, minus the hard man stuff.
Contact one of the agencies, see if you can get $151 , because as far as I can tell, he’s eligible. Under 10 games , and barely older than most of this years draftees.
looks a good bet but the competition is pretty tough this year
The only way anyone is beating Jagga is through injury. Same as last season
yeah probably. Johnson could be a strong bet for a top 5 finish
Sportsbet have him @$81
They just put him on. I made a complaint to customer support today
