#42 Adam Saad

Future second round is not the end of the world.

Can always trade back in next year if required.

Disagree with most opinions about Saads manager.

It sounds like Saad is adamant (pun intended), that he wants to get to Essendon.
His manager is optimistic about a deal getting done, and getting him to ‘Melbourne’. And keeping options open.

He said he’s talked to Doddoro, and Future picks are an option.

I think this joke has been maaaaaade already

I’m now picturing barrister’s robes with skintight footy shorts from the waist down, and the Capper mullet barrister’s wig.

WC, QC quoting case law: “remember Smith v Johnson? It was big in the 80s!”

Plough very bullish about Saad, thinks that the environment at Essendon and cultural/family fulfilment could see him become a very good player.

I reckon that’s a good deal. Colyer for saad then 11 for stringer and 28 for Smith. Means we still come into the draft in the 40s. As i said previously i reckon we could get hind as a rookie anyway that would be close to as good as colyer. We need to move on from these guys that have had no success anyway: colyer, howlett, myers, hocking etc

You lot do realise that Trav would have to want to go to GC?

Maybe Jackets puts on a heavy jacket and give Trav the hard word.

For me Trav fumbles to much, and is a bit of a front runner

Was his teacher also a one eyed bombers supporter though?

I wagged solarium and capers though and went to the Uni bar.

Wagging is going to classes at Capper U.

Id be happy to offer up langford, laverde, collier and francis…and if we got nothing in return, we’d still be better off.

Giving up Francis will be a big mistake and I doubt we will… every afl game he’s played is up forward when he’s a third tall intercept defender with a lethal leg give him a permanent position down back and see what happens! Getting Stringer, Saad and Smith I doubt we can get all three without future picks which is also stupid considering next year’s draft is a super draft, go look at the talent the draft pool… Although Stringer is a must get and we should part with pick 11. I’d prefer to pick up some talent in next year’s draft than Smith, someone like Ian Hill would be awesome but won’t happen if we give up future picks…

Firstly I will admit I’m drunk most of the time I see the Suns so am more likely to miss out on the less flashier parts of the game like nullifying an opponent. But…from what I have seen he is pretty good at locking down given he is strong in the contest and has a nice balance of attack and defence. I wouldn’t put him in Bags ‘pure lockdown’ class though. I still rate Baguley as one of the best pure back pocket defenders in the league.

I would still be looking to develop another tough Baguley replacement.
