His last 3yrs, apart from the first half of 2021, have been poor, fitness levels not up to AFL standard. He has a lot of work to do to get back to the required level of fitness. I’m keeping expectations low, that way there’s no disappointment. If he can get back to his best and play a couple of decent seasons happy days.

My knee jerk reaction to this news is elation. I look forward to the excitement of my favourite player doing Tippa stuff. However long term I don’t see it as advantageous. We are such a mess on and off the field that I don’t care about the long term. Tippa doing Tippa stuff next season will be all I need

We know the effect the hubs during covid had on him and others, but let’s be real - his 2019 was not poor, he kicked 32 goals for the season and was a match winner in multiple games.

That’s 4 seasons ago. 20-22 are the last 3 seasons. He was unfit this year, struggled in the 2s and retired.
Everything we are feeling on Tippa’s return has already been said.
