ADW is not quick, I think he ran just under a 3.2 at the combine. His pace is still afl pace and he compensates with his other atttibutes, evasiveness, kicking, marking etc. He will suprise many with his ability to read the play, make the right decision and kick goals out of his ar*e. Will be a pretty usefull player for us imo.

The only experienced blokes that’ll be playing VFL are Guelfi and Cox off long injuries, and Lav coming back from suspension.

Like I said, I hope it’s true. I’m not even saying it isn’t.
But it’s going to take more than forced changes due to injury to convince me.
Some people won’t be happy until every first year player is in and there’s no one over 25.

I should hold my tongue until team selection because there’s every likelihood that we drop a kid for something that we’ve tolerated from senior players… but these two debuts give me hope
