The bit that I’m worried about is that recruiting and list management aren’t aligned. If I listen here Dodo is the only person doing both. When he changes jackets does he forget everything that he said when wearing the other jacket?

But this is the whole point of the NGA and rookie setup.
2 years should be the absolute minimum to give these lads a go.
If we are flicking guys like this after 1 year then everyone single person involved in getting him to the club needs to be moved on immediately

Kid is not 19 until October, close to youngest on list and was called a “long term prospect”.
If it is not his decision then it makes little sense, as given the shitefest the Bombers VFL team has been, and the seemingly little effort put into Munkara in development (and the same applies to both Davey boys and Tex) then it is very disappointing.
Yep lets go and recruit Tarryn Thomas, quick fix and a looming disaster.

Nothing has been announced yet. If it was so assured, he would have been included in the Monty, Lord and McBride delistings announcement during the week.
It would be great to hear the context of the situation prior to jumping to conclusions…

Those 3 plus Stewart have been definitive, decision made stuff. Exit meeting barely required.
Voss, Snell and even Munkara are probably in wait and see patterns or maybe slightly more likely to stay.
Rogan Josh might be ok, but don’t go anywhere near the Beef Wellington.

Interesting. When did they tell him as he has been up north since before the season ended if the reports are correct? Also strange that the club didn’t announce it when they announced the other three.

The list spot is free but nothing else is.
We pay his wage, he utilises the coaches time, he presumably gets off field support, he takes a spot in the vfl side. If he didn’t progress as much as expected and we don’t have faith he can progress enough, why not cut our losses and put our resources into other areas.

They aren’t rookie B’s, but we have Davey x2, Tex, Menzie and potentially Voss and Hunter. That’s plenty of young forwards to develop and build a vfl forward line around.
As an aside, and a slight thread highjacking, do you really think there are deadly mushrooms floating around (EDIT: I specifically mean floating around asian grocers, which was claimed, not available to pick in the wild), but somehow, no-one else has been poisoned, or might there have been something more nefarious going on?
