#45 Conor McKenna - Return of The McK - nope

Living overseas is difficult and sometimes it’s not until you get back home that you appreciate the new home you created somewhere else.

He is so coming back and very welcome too.

I don’t think we can assume he wants to/ or is welcome at Essendon, his tweet infers he’s on the market not coming back to EFC.

I’m not he would fit into Rutten “blue collar” style, he’d have to prove he can defend before he’s a walk up start.

If he wanted to come back to Essendon, he wouldn’t have said anything publicly.

What if he is played forward?

I always thought he’d be better up the ground, but still Rutten likes his forwards to tackle, he’d have to change the way he plays

Just like the Trade spec dream cloud one then.

Mckenna was fine defensively.

We need depth in the small forward position. He will be perfect. No club would threat Connor Mac like a king except us.

Fkg lol he’s not coming back. He was ■■■■ faced, probably talking ■■■■ about the AFL to his mates in Ireland, and decided to fkg troll you Muppets

He might be the missing link as a tough mid sized speedy forward.

To be honest I think Conor is just on an epic session :beer:. And fair play, so is the rest of the county.

He was just saying after the final that he didn’t get near his best this season and that there is more to come from him and this Tyrone team. Personally, I’d say your best bet is that he plays another couple of seasons with Tyrone - and given the age profile of the team the next two seasons always looked our best bet - then if it suited everyone he might go have another right good crack at Australia. But we won’t stand in his way anyway.

Right, I’m away back to the pub

Therefore making it his most coherent tweeting time. I would be taking this very seriously. if Jackets hasn’t already spoken to him today I would be very, very surprised. Conor can still be a very useful AFL player and I did like the idea of him being a manic defensive small forward. Still can be.

Reading his thoughts on his immediate future in that article, it won’t be for at least a couple of years yet.
