He’s not and is still extremely raw, but I am happy for him. Strange decision to pick him imo.

You could say those things about anyone really.

Given the way the game is being directed, the ball doesn’t spend nearly as much time on the ground as it used to. Players who are skilled, fast off the mark, with high endurance and who can keep their feet seem well suited to the way the game is heading. From what we’ve seen from the admittedly small sample group so far, the boys with Tok’s background appear to be suited to it. Only my opinion of course. Time will ultimately tell.

Have you seen our handballing? Not being able to pick up a ball at your feet is a huge disadvantage in this team!!!

Ryder and Nic Nat have a good leap and so does Jok.

I Imagine he can jump a lot higher than gleeson.

Hoping Jok can be competitive in the ruck or around the ground.
And apply defensive pressure on the wing.

I think that’s a little unfair. One issue isn’t a whole career and plenty of high quality ruckmen have stuffed up like that at times.

In a few games that I have seen this year Jok is ok, he is raw and he doesn’t get it right all the time. But when he does he can be quite effective. He is not a full time ruckman though, but he can be serviceable weaving through traffic and driving the ball forward and the wing can suit him.

I am not sure he will make it long term in the AFL though.

I am wondering if Woosha is pleased with himself after the move with Ambrose on Fyfe, and given TBC won’t be fit enough to keep up with Grundy (not that he ever was) - whether Tom will have a run with role with Grundy to negate him and make sure someone is at the hit outs if TBC or Smack can’t get there.
