#46 Tom “Tuth Jok Jok” Jok - you’re cut

Preferably flat grass

Think of it as the equivalent of tying down the windsock.
If Blitz is agonising over his height, imagine the Filth’s opposition analysts- is he 190, 193, 195,… and how long are his arms as well?
Austin Lacey or Steve Copping?

At times he struggles beneath his knees, while his kicking is average

I think they may have a fair idea since he was on their VFL list.

Is it Jok Jok or just Jok?

Any chance he’ll have an assignment like a run with role on Grundy?

True.
I still doubt body type/build will be the deciding factor, one way or the other.

He’ll make it if he’s good enough.

Pretty much my feelings as well.

He’s not and is still extremely raw, but I am happy for him. Strange decision to pick him imo.

Have you seen our handballing? Not being able to pick up a ball at your feet is a huge disadvantage in this team!!!

Guys, on Saturday Jok took a ruck contest from a throw in unopposed and dropped the ball. He is useless in the ruck.

I think that’s a little unfair. One issue isn’t a whole career and plenty of high quality ruckmen have stuffed up like that at times.

In a few games that I have seen this year Jok is ok, he is raw and he doesn’t get it right all the time. But when he does he can be quite effective. He is not a full time ruckman though, but he can be serviceable weaving through traffic and driving the ball forward and the wing can suit him.

I am not sure he will make it long term in the AFL though.

Tom Jok’s bio:

Age: 21

Height: 193cm

Weight: 80kg

Position: Defender/Midfielder

Recruited from: Collingwood VFL

It seems he lost 3cm and 6kg between being recruited and having his profile done by EFC.

And grown again by the time benfti met him.

Regardless, I wish you well Tom and hope you have a great game.

Further to this, I saw 2x experienced AFL ruckman miss set shots from bugger all out on Saturday night. It happens.

Tuth Jok Jok wants to be known as “Tom Jok.” The club calls him “Tom Jok.” Let’s do him the courtesy of calling him by his preferred name here as well.

MODERATORS: Can you please change the title of this thread to “Tom Jok” ?

I am wondering if Woosha is pleased with himself after the move with Ambrose on Fyfe, and given TBC won’t be fit enough to keep up with Grundy (not that he ever was) - whether Tom will have a run with role with Grundy to negate him and make sure someone is at the hit outs if TBC or Smack can’t get there.

You do realise the thread will now become something like:

Tuth “Tom Jok” Jok Jok

It is an interesting wondering.

I hope you’re wrong, because that would be disrespect for Tom Jok.

I blame the grassy knoll at Tullamarine.
