I think we only know from insiders like below. But that’s similar I believe to the view Melbourne were trading up for Humphrey; is there any actual evidence who they were targeting?

There is no proof of this, blitz folklore at best. If i understand the problems with dodoro its that he would not be overuled by anyone, if it was brad that wanted tsatsas, there is no way he wouldnt be playing him

To be clear, I believe W_D has been firm on the Brad side of that comment, not sure it’s clear Dodoro necessarily wanted Phillipou, it may simply have been Brad taking charge on that pick and/or being particularly enamored by Tsatas. I think the Dodoro/Phillipou side was more Blitz assuming Dodoro wanted to go rogue and disrupt the consensus draft order in keeping with his style (or at least Blitz’s view on his style).
Just to be clear about the subtlety of what we actually “know” and what we don’t.

I just assumed if everyone was all in on Tsatas that would be the spiel, not “Scott”. But you’re right we don’t know.
I know he isn’t coming back into the side but if he plays well again tonight it would be nice to have a reporter ask Scott about him so we can at least hear the reasoning behind it

Ad was a very big fan of Pou, you may recall post draft Pou saying something along the lines of ‘Tsatas better be good’ to Ad.
And tbh the jury is still out on both, so I’m not saying we should’ve taken one over the other but unless we play Tsatas, we essentially have no way of finding out.

Keep the faith! He just needs to continue to build and he will get his chance.
Parish can play some HFF in the Hobbs role, Perkins can move into the Langford role, Martin moves out of the center and bang, a spot is open for him.
I do like seeing Martin running through the midfield i gotta admit.
I just think don’t it will happen from here.
The selection integrity is shot to bits blokes get 10-15 touches a week for weeks on end and have no repercussions of being dropped and Lij racks up elite numbers and doesn’t get a shot.
There has to be something else aswell going on and I’d love a ITK to help us find out what it is, I assume it’s the whispers that he is out the door.

I don’t really get why he doesn’t play either. I get his flaws but it is hardly like the rest of the team is exceptional either with kicking and defensive work.

A much quieter VFL appearance today with only 32 possessions and 8 clearances.
Kicking was great in shocking conditions. Most pleasingly, he’s now holding the footy and showed his ability to burst away from stoppage. Is young, talented, and injury free.

You watch. The bullshit excuse this week will be. The vfl played Saturday night and the seniors are playing Thursday night so only 5 day break. Not enough time to recover so we will go with Hobbs and settlefield again

Had a really good ratio of kicking to handball in the end aswell, 5 tackles and a few burst runs.
Could have had more had his team mates not gave away free kicks as he was out
