@IceTemple did you get the 3 Score Involvements from the AFL app? It is currently saying 4 but not sure it can be considered accurate, Nik Cox only has 3…

Clearances comprehensively won by Essendon yesterday makes it difficult for Elija to force his way back in against Mitch’s mob.

Is part 3 the delisting?
Finally, Parish was dropped. The beginning of the end.
Perkins was dropped which means more time resting HFF for Caldwell et al.
If Merrett departs there’ll be room.
Noticed Tsatas started a lot off HFF and didn’t have his usual CBA attendance. Was more pushing up as the extra mid and just dobbing ridiculous GOTY contenders.
Tsatas is only 21 and somehow still giving 100% and adjusting his game. He’s irresistable.

Tsatas has kicked more goals this year than Perkins.
What an option wowee if you can add a lazy 30+ disposals and more goals from a HFF/MID.

Averages 31 possies at VFL, which would be more like 35 if only last couple of years, averaged 25 at AFL level in the scattered 22 games he’s been allowed. Has clearly been adjusting his game, it’s more documented than any other recent recruit in the league. As for irresistible, he’s obviously not to us, but he keeps putting a decent case forward. Why is that so hard to accept?
Farrow deserving of praise yesterday, zero tackles, 20 possies. Roberts zero tackles. Robey 2, Durham 2. It’s all stats sure, but he’s impressing regularly, he seems to have to do more than every other player on the list. Baffling.

I agree he should be getting a go but the thing against at the moment I feel is that he can only play one position on the ground. He is a mid and that’s it whereas Farrow, Robey etc are more versatile in that they can play forward, back or mid.
We saw even yesterday that despite Sharp being our best centre clearance player yesterday he actually got very few CBA’s so at the moment I’m not sure how Tsatas gets into that mix. Merrett, Durham and Caldwell took the bulk of CBA’s yesterday and I’m not sure who Elijah dislodges out of those

I’m bullish about the new recruits too, just like we all were about the unicorns and rolls royces and in and under hard nuts and generational full backs we recruited over the last decade. He’s maybe not as good at some things but he’s currently FAR better at some things than not only the first years but some of the ‘veterans’. It takes a good mix.
Again, regardless of who he displaces or who of our magnificently in form senior players deserve to keep their spots, what is there to lose by playing this 21 year old at a time in our rebuild where multiple first year players are getting gurnseys and starting to gel a bit?

By all accounts it was his most complete game for the season. Selection this week will be tight given the win yesterday. I can’t see him getting back in unless there is an injury. Ditto Parish.

Rightly or wrongly he has been pigeonholed by the club as a mid so unless a mid spot opens up he is going to find it hard to get in the side. I just don’t see him getting a game as a forward for example
