Has a go, keep developing him in the seniors.

One of a very few who knows how to handball.

Good to see him get a decent run.

Puts himself in good positions time and time again but man, that kicking is going to cost us every week until itā€™s fixed.

His kicking was ok today.

OK as it it went where he intended but geez the ball just floats its way there and allows the opposition to get to the contest.

I personally donā€™t see it. But, I hope he keeps improving.

His cleanliness and handballing skill canā€™t be taught. Positioning on the wing, not his best position, can be. Kicking is an issue but all we know how much he is working on it.

Iā€™m a bit like you.

Getting the ball and hand balling to the nearest target isnā€™t amazing.

Letā€™s see.

Yeah there was one to Langford late where it took forever to get to him and the Tigers defender spoiled it. If thatā€™s Caldwell the ball gets to Langers low and flat. His kicks lack depth and penetration.

His best game, he is better than Hobbs

I thought his best play of the night was when there was that high ball out towards the wing where he just had to stand and wait. He got smashed by the Richmond player but was still able to hold his ground somewhat and stay in the contest on the ground.

McGrath made a career out of it for his first 2 years. Nothing but clean gathers and great hands (and to be fair the defending on top).

We just need to keep exposing him to the heat. Would like to see him at the coalface more. I groan when heā€™s taking uncontested marks at HB

Heā€™s certainly more suited to playing wing than Hobbs.

I think he has more strings to his bow, but essentially they fill two differneeds.

I wonā€™t be able to rest until I know DRAINOā€™s thoughts on tonightā€™s game.

Agree. Not that I want to compare him to Jobe, but Jobe was a horrible kick, but so damaging in a contest and in a pack. Understandably, there are players ahead of him in the midfield but Iā€™d also like to see him in there more, as really thatā€™s where heā€™s going to be if heā€™s a success.

You can tell he isnā€™t confident enough for any kind of pin point pass by foot. Like when he was kicking into a relatively open F50 early in the game, he had a few options he could have taken and he took the low risk kick to space.

His composure and strength over the ball and ability to lay a tackle was very prominent in the last 10 minutes.

Definitely has some tricks.

be great if kicking was one of them.

The gather and handball to Martin (who frickin missed) was sublime. He is electric below his knees.

I really like what he can do but geez his kicking is very poor. Iā€™m not sure he can ever get his kicking to elite standard but he needs to work hard on it if he wants to be a regular
