#6 Joe Daniher - wants out of Tulla on the full

Shaun Grigg said 3 days ago he went through a phase where it was just a job.
Just because it means something to you, doesn’t mean it means something to someone else.

The early season purported “calf strain” may just have been something else!:roll_eyes:

Paul Salmon: 63 goals in 1984 got everyone super-excited, then did his knee.

Came back and ended up played FF in three Grand Finals and was three times All-Australian (once for Hawks). Did not always kick reliably for goal.

Hope we can stand by Joe better we did with the Big Fish.

Dude, plenty of players treat it as a job. 100000% supporters are more heavily invested and emotional about their club than players

It sure softens the blow of losing when your getting paid hundreds of thousands regardless of the result

Are you saying we should trade Joe to Hawthorn?

Absolutely every player wants a flag, but what they’re willing to give up to get that flag varies. We know from many reports that Joe is willing to give as much as humanly possible. He won’t fail through lack of effort or will.

Will we know the results of the scan this afternoon?

Can we find a way to blame the AFL or maybe even the umpires for this ?

Blame is not going to get us anywhere.

You cannot change it, accept it and see what the depth players can do for us. At the very least it might get some kids a game in the AFL. Look at what a revelation Redman has been. Play Francis back into form ( just starting to show it last week) Laverde. Langford more time forward.

Spot on. Time the club started holding those in the football department accountable

Hawthorn seem to be on the ball of when players are cooked and when they can be saved.

We need to poach their doctor and head physio.

SAY ITS NOT SO JOE.

Of course they all want a flag but that wasn’t your statement.

For quite awhile now footy has been a business to everyone except the supporters.

Supporters love one club and one club only, many players will move clubs for a variety of reasons and get to console themselves with pay packets in the hundreds of thousands.

Many supporters are too heavily emotionally invested in their club and because of that i believe they feel the losses much much harder than the players.

Damn right. Scully was due for an amputation I thought, but look at him running around. Sheesh!

I never even mentioned players caring about a club. They care about winning.

Winning for the club they play for. This is not an individual sport.

You didn’t have to mention it, it’s implied.
