anyone else find it strange they’re not sending McKenna with Joe to Ireland?
I mean, if anyone has a good idea of which places to take Joe for a drink while he’s in Ireland, it would be McKenna surely?

If Joe is sighted in glasses and a hoodie meeting with the boss of a Gaelic football team i’m going to go full Nino.
you clearly haven’t gone into the training thread from today…
Just wanting to say that Joe isn’t looking happy, even when he was smiling and joking in some of the club videos when he returned to training, it was nothing like his carefree joyous approach to life and footy when he was out there killing it. Makes me think of Paul Salmon’s battles after his early knee injury.
I love Joe and wish the media and the rest of us could learn from the fact that so many high profile footballers find the fishbowl of living in an AFL mad city tough going when things aren’t going well.
I just wish he could be left alone and be allowed to feel like a regular Joe, and be able to experience the simple joys of life without having to carry the weight of messianic expectations around with him.
He might be a champion footballer cruelled by a horribly chronic injury, but the joy he has obviously been able to find in life in the past is what I’m missing seeing in him the most.
Maybe he needs a translator.
My travel experiences show that you don’t need to be able to talk to local language to order beers. Joe will fine at the bar by himself.
I haven’t, but now I’m curious…
Don’t do it to yourself. You will regret it way more than Joe regrets that faithful coffee with Tom Harley.
The more you all tell me not to, the more likely I am to do it…
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to poke your eye with a sharp stick?
I suggest you start there. Much more pleasant.
One thing needs to be said here.
Groin Guru is a great title to have.
Good luck boys I hope your trip in Ireland is successful.
So is he banned from NSW? Is it like the club can’t handle him cheating on them again type scenario?
I hope it all goes well for him over there and he can start having some fun on the training track before the season kicks off. 6-8 week prep once he gets on the track and he’ll still offer plenty this season.
I hope that Dodoro wasn’t over-ruled in trading JD as in the Pickett situation.
Tomlinson can’t catch you meeting Harley if you meet in another country… *** taps head***
Highly doubtful, why would Dodoro want a job he has no power in, trades and draft should have zero to do with the board, or is my thinking out of date here?
I am sure of one thing
The longer we go without success, the more people get short with each other, less patient people are. Arguements are more frequent. Blitz mood is at an all time low, I can’t remember it this bad for as long as I’ve been on here (2003)
When we do win a final, this place will be glorious for at least a week. I look forward to that
It’s going to be a long year. There’s nothing to get us positive in the short term either. Earliest this place is rocking is if we’re 3 or 4 zip… that’s April!
Ireland is a long way to go for a bloke of that size. Even in Business Class.
It’s all good he’s using your mate Harley’s points to upgrade to First Class. The beer is cooler up the pointy end.
