BS, Zac is a footballer, since when have they had a brain .
Anyway I know a BBlitzer who has a cure for cancer.

I also donât care. But I think it was at both clubs. But again, I donât care.
So Hawthorn split their 9 into 10 and 22 and tried to sell that to us as 2 firsts? Get fkd
He did a â â â â job. Maybe he should look inward instead of pointing and carrying on. The guy is a â â â â â â â clown.
Welsh tricked Merrett in to attending the B & F, big mistake on Merretts part as that was his opportunity to burn the bridge, should have been a no show.
This is my position, except Iâm a little more â â â â â â over by our club because I believe that deal was quite good.
But yes, what a complete â â â â up by those idiots. They had 6 weeks to think about how to get this done and the best they could come up with was pick 10?
That was the issue imo, not the overall number of picks. Pick 10 would have slipped to potentially 14 which is really borderline for a player that could absolutely be the difference between winning your club a premiership. As â â â â â â off as I am, they messed up worse than we did. They are so farking stupid.
We could have gotten a good deal by just accepting what Hawthorn offered us.
Essendon has foregone the chance to jumpstart a rebuild with a strong draft hand and at the same time make a stand about the kind of loyalty we demand from players, in particular the captain.
Yeah. But atleast weâll be âcompetitiveâ
I just wanna compete and have fun at the footy⌠I donât care about premierships.
YeH, this has Mitchellâs smug â â â â eating face all over it. As much as I think Merritt needed to go, my alter ego is quietly happy Mitchell didnât get his way
Itâs still 3 picks that are going to be all probably higher than the pick 26 Zack was taken for, all for a 30 year old that doesnât want to be there. At least thereâs 3 chances that someone other than Dodoro has of finding a good player or players so while you say it was crap it could also be amazing.
He and his manager threw mud at the club through his mate morris.
He was captain and met with public enemy number 1 and wanted to join one of our biggest rivals.
He is going to cop it big time, and rightfully so. Quite frankly itâs all on him to earn back the trust and respect of the players and the fans
Oh you got a âchampâ ![]()
I would have preferred we traded Merrett but do feel his manager has â â â â â â this up. How did we get to a week and a half in and no offer from Hawthorn? It was like hawthorn only moved on the final day. Atleast Sydney was working the whole way through. What was his manager doing in the Hawthorn rooms all this time besides giving out.
Unfortunately my champing authoritor doesnât extend to that cesspit.
Ha Ha Ha.
So the EFC has a backbone.
âRight to be furiousâ: Hawks blamed for no-deal as Merrettâs manager blows up on-air
This is one of the worst non-results in the history of trading.
Hawthorn absolutely held back on making a decent offer for a player they want and need.
Mitchell acting the complete dog â â â â in winning and dining another clubâs contracted player.
Their club and coach shat all over any trust future recruits have in getting deals done.
Merrett has completely destroyed his legacy, exposed himself as an absolute petulant, disloyal piece of â â â â , elevated himself to the mantle of âworst Essendon captain everâ, cost himself the captaincy of the club and, worse, lost the respect of many players.
Essendon has foregone the chance to jumpstart a rebuild with a strong draft hand and at the same time make a stand about the kind of loyalty we demand from players, in particular the captain.
Petroro has failed to do his job, in the process further alienating both clubs and his client, while dropping incendiary comments further damaging the (now forced and hostile) relationship with Merrett.
Welsh has shown his hand as a delusional âweâre not far off itâ clapper. We have learned nothing and will learn nothing in the near future.
There is no win for anybody here.
Yeah the whole thing has been weird. Hawthorn and Essendon only started talking a few days ago? Surely hawthorn would of asked straight up before trade period exactly what we wanted, and then work from there and do some haggling.
Why did zacâs manager think going the scorched earth approach was going to work?
I applaud Rosa and the club for not wilting and accepting a rubbish deal, it was on hawthorn to come up with something that we couldnât say no to
Iâm out too.
This, among the many other brain dead executive decisions the club has made over the last ten years have driven me away. I will struggle to watch a game next year.
People focussing on the numbers of the picks without actually thinking what it could have meant for us. That deal could have meant a potential Sharp/Robey , Cumming, Dovatson, Taylor and Sweid draft haul. Every single one of those player bar Sweid has the ability to be a A grader. Potentially the greatest draft we have ever had as a club.
But no, alternatively we âshowedâ everyone by keeping a 30 year old who has completely disrespected the club to the point where he canât even remain captain, and will either leave next year for considerably less or absolutely will leave the following year for free. Zac has dragged the clubs name and its players through the mud over the last month, to the point where his position was untenable.
But again, we decided to show everyone just how strong we are because we didnât accept a slightly unders deal for him. And yes, thatâs all it was, SLIGHTLY unders. It was a good farking deal.
Absolute â â â â â â â morons running the club still.
Actually hilariously stupid
