Keep playing him in the guts.
His dogged determination is something too few on our list have.
He’s the kind of guy that should have his flaws overlooked for now. Brad seems to be making a rare correct decision by consistently playing him. Just make sure he stays in the middle on not the fkg forward flank.
Come to think of it, do we have a midfield that sucks to play against? Merrett, Caldwell, Durham, Hobbs and Setterfield as depth - they all work their arses off and aren’t afraid of the physical stuff.

I’ve been a critic, and a sceptic, but Hobbsy has really impressed me in the last few games. Seems to be getting to more contests and has really developed a quick kicking action which holds him in good stead in the clinches (even if it isn’t often accurate!). Looks like he is starting mostly outside the centre and then becoming a follower after that, so that’s another tick in terms of mobility. Looking forward to see what we get from him over the next few rounds.

The one at the bottom of the pack is fairly useless now…….
Stops the ball coming out and going the other way.

Only following game via blitz. Is hobbs being used as indide mid with caldwell out injured?
His effort levels are always good. Ball in hand though he is garbage

We need to rescind his kicking license
A bit half forward but mainly through the middle. Don’t reckon he has had many CBA’s though
Has had a few cbas, but about usual for him really. Setterfield and Shiel are realistically taking Caldwell and Tsatas’ cbas from start of the year.

There is a player there but his decision making hurts, has the McPhee’s about him with his stopping and propping and not going the first option.
