If Marty gets back to the level he played pre LTI aka car wreck ankle injury then he will be very very useful as a HBFer. If he can’t then he gets delisted at the end of 2021. I can’t see there’s even anything to argue about.
Given our dearth of small backs, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Gleeson makes it to 100 games in 2021.
If you don’t like their opinion you could fuccccck ooooorrrrrffff?
I love ice creams but I wouldn’t consider marrying one.
How is he going to suddenly put on weight now after all these years?!

Only as good as your last post on Blitz…
Yeah but how are you rating those Blitz posts?
Spelling/ autocorrect errors?
Correct use of apostrophes and grammar? A la @Alan_Noonan_10
Sticking to the game plan & your strengths by repeating the same opinions endlessly?
Not allowing the opposition a possession?
Rebounding from factually incorrect statements?
Bombing an joke or pun from outside 50?
Going for cheap likes? FarkCarlton.
Obviously need more transparency in post ratings.
Big difference between putting on muscle whilst maintaining your endurance vs stacking on the pounds living the good life.
Word is,hes been doing a massive amount of weights, more than ever.
Supposedly put on .068kgs over the last 8 weeks.
Watch out 2021. Marty is here to partay
Gleeson and Stringer swapped diets and training programs
Lucky it wasn’t the ■■■■■■■ in the closet post then hey.

He has been delisted and placed on the rookie list for a reason to buy a year for the kids to develop and the likes of Francis, BZT, Ridley to develop their games even more so.
I hope he breaks into the senior side next year and earns a contract for 2022 because he has talent which has been seen, however since his injury hasn’t been the same player.
I’d say the reason is the club doesn’t want to
Payout his contract.
Not to disparage the personality, more a comment on his AFL credentials… unfortunately, having players like Gleeson on the list is symptomatic of the malaise or standards that have infiltrated the club. He is not AFL senior standard.
No doubt Dodoro would have delisted Gleeson this year if he could of, but Gleeson was contracted.
Given his 2017 output, I don’t think anyone would have disagreed with the decision to give Gleeson a 3 year deal (on likely low money).
It’s just classic Essington luck that the moment we give him a long term deal, he does and gets a career ending injury in his first preseason game
Time to bump the Marty Thread.
If only because, out of a thousand or so posts dissecting Thursday’s game, I don’t recall a single mention of him.
Even Zaharakis was mentioned more often.
And he didn’t play.
Probably because, according to @THE_DON1, he had a team-low 3 disposals.
