That first quarter kick today that went to their player was the moment I realised it’s best to just laugh. The club is a joke from top to bottom so I will treat them as such from now on.

There were at least two occasions today (first half, I think) where he tucked the ball under his arm, put the afterburners on, and just split right through the middle of a pack.
It was Eagles era Judd-like.
Of course, he then farked the disposal up and turned it over both times, but goddam… This is guy is so close to being a really, really good footballer. But the flaws in his game drag him right down.

If it is true than I’ve lost faith in how Rosa and Vozzo manage contracts.

I always wonder how much input the head coach has on things like this. If Brad comes out and says I want Jones he’s part of our future, would/could the list management team just say no?
I can’t imagine clubs hold onto players the coaches don’t want.

Said today post match he only has a small input when it comes to list management.
Said his main job is to coach and develop the players at his dispsoal.
He’s a car salesman. He talks ■■■■. He also has said he doesn’t play injured players (countless examples), he doesn’t prioritise short term over long term (playing Shiel over tsatas, Kelly Heppell over D’Ambrosio, tsatas can’t get a look in, Goldy and Phillips for three years were ahead of Bryan).
Summary: Brad talks ■■■■ and what he says doesn’t correlate to what he does.
He 100% has a significant say in list profile and who we keep.

I never watched him at GWS but some time during his, like, 3rd game for us I said to my mate next to me “if he could kick he’d win a Brownlow”.
It’s been the same story every year with us. It’s a real shame he’s not even a “decent” kick.

The coach has the first and last say. The list management team would do the part in the middle, getting the deal done.

Sometimes when you hear stuff like this, still makes you wonder if there are still politics going on behind the scenes at the club. There’s no way he deserves another contract, do coterie groups have influence and bias in terms of which players are retained? Or does brad actually like him?
If brad likes him he’s dumb as ■■■■, but given the team selections in his 3 years with us, we shouldn’t be surprised.

Love seeing him do it. Don’t even care that he farks the kick cos at least he’s taking responsibility to win us the game.
Happy to keep him on the list as long as we start seeing more Tsatas. It’s a long season.

Its not just his speed, he is a very very good judge of when he can run clear and when he cant.
But yeah, his disposal is cooked.
