still got the GWS orange on his face
The sooner people stop even using his name the better for all
Zerret, Heppell, TBell, Hooker, Daniher (when fit)
Are better than him in my books.
And based on this year I would have Smith and Zaka ahead of him
Best highlights package Iâve seen to date (including some stuff from his younger years):
Looking at Dylanâs stats he has never had the pleasure to lose to Fark Carlton at the MCG.
Dylan, that is all about to change.
Welcome Dylan. (Sorry we made you sweat and have a heart attack).
Zaka ahead of Shiel by any measure is madness.
Fxd
I agree. I mean⌠Derr.
Although I did do some of the olâ footywire comparisons, and they were a lot closer stats-wise than I would have thought. Even for 2017.
Footy wire stats are pretty poo. AFL Stats Pro is much better. Over their careerâs itâs not even a comparison.
That wasnât the statement made, though.
And AFL stats pro, hey? Well La De Friggin Da.
How good is this!
Comparing stats are fine up to a point. What you donât get from them is where a player has turned a game off their own boot. Stepped up in a quarter or a half and willed themselves into a game and changed the course of it. Kicked that clutch goal or two. i.e. they are match winners.
The stats for those moments can be smaller in number, but more important in impact. The question, away from the stats, which player has proven to be better at winning matches?
Itâs moments like these where we REALLY miss Merv Keane.
Goodbumps.
Thatâs awesome.
I reckon we have a few.
I think his value is his constancy and his hard running.
Eagles, Richmond and Collingwood have really hard working two way midfield runners.
We have a few but Dylan is on the next level though.
Thatâs was farking awesome.
Seriously, took less money to come to us and was hell bent on going.
He will be a cult hero. Put your house on it.
I will take Hooker over Hurley any day of the week.
Look, Shiel is a substantially better player than Zaharakis, no doubt at all.
But match winning moments might not be the best thing to compare.
yeah - winning matches isnât everythingâŚ
