Matthews moving away from 7 sounds good to me. Past-it commentator who I have to put up with during 7 broadcasts now moves to a show involving Tom Morris that I was never going to watch anyway.

Matthews used to be kinda sort of okay, but recently he’s a special comments guy at best, whose most regular contribution is, ‘yeah…I dunno…’

Meh… let me know when Taylor and Brayshaw have been given the Chaminda, then I’ll be interested… Both make a football broadcast unwatchable/unlistenable.
What do they need a footy show for, so that has-beens and never-weres can bore us all stupid with their unoriginal opinions, the way Sam Neumann and Fat Eddie did for years on 9 ? You should be grateful for 7, giving us half the season’s matches for free. Yes.

I’m not saying that they need to have 1 million and 1 shows about footy. I do find it funny though that the host broadcaster has less tv shows on footy than their main opposition - who don’t even broadcast the sport

it’s because people don’t watch them if they’re not connected with the game broadcasts (pre and post game) so they’re not worth producing
They are apparently bring back Talking Footy. With Selwood and Cotchin hosting.
