Agree with everything Lloyd said. Hawks thought they could just walk him out so a good faith deal was never going to happen. Merrett needs to demand better training standards and players need to tell him how they feel and captaincy is out of the question. And most of all, we have to build a better club.

Merrettâs frustration and despondency was clearly on display during the year. We all saw his face and body language after a couple of poor team performances as he was walking off the ground. Doubtless behind closed doors there were some conversations led by him with team mates. Not sure how this current situation would impact me as a team mate, sufficient to say itâll be fraught. Tough times ahead for our club as the media and rival clubs capitalise on it.

Just feel like the notion of paying overs to headhunt a scum media flog head in this day and age to be utterly insane.
They should be paying someone like Gorringe the big bucks. Hell generate genuine traffic and revenue.
