A thread about rain and no other things

I think I paid $2200 for a 22,500l tank.

It was only $100 or so more than a 15,000l tank and I thought that was good economy, but in retrospect, I’d rather have the 15,000 jobbie. 22,500 one is too tall.

Installation added a few grand though, because I needed a small jobbie (1,500l) to collect the water, and then pump it to the big unit in the back corner of the property. So the pump, the extra tank and the pipes added a good 3 or 4 large.

Nope. Tanks only unfortunately.

The install is going to hurt. Wet system about 20m from the house. Good times.

BOM say it could get nasty this arvo for the Sydney area:

" BOM is expecting the storms to intensify in the afternoon, with hailstones and damaging winds to pummel the northern coastlines."

NSW is drowning, … and Queensland is on fire.

Australia.

Out on the patio we’d sit,
And the humidity we’d breathe,
We’d watch the lightning crack over cane fields
Laugh and think, this is Australia.

Supposed to by flying out tonight. 6pm flight already delayed to 7.30pm. Just hope I don’t get another delay, delay, delay, cancel at 10pm.

Seriously glorious sunny day in Melbourne today. No rain. Blue sky. Glorious indeed.

Enjoy.
