Had soooooo much rain,… so much.
Having coffee with @bomber5au this morning, after it’d rained most of the morning, he declared that it’d turned into a nice day.
Hadn’t even finished my coffee when it resumed…just after midday…and it’s only just stopped now.

Sorry Alan. Didn’t mean to let you down. But with all the world’s problems that we solve over a coffee in the world’s most livable community one minor glitch shouldn’t count against me.

It’s like living in Singapore being in Melbourne at the moment.
We are in a dry spell at present, Kilmore Gap weather station (operating since 1993) has long term average rain to September as 530 mm. last year to this date 442 mm, this year 356 mm.
It is annoying when the media tell us rainy weather is bad and sunny days are great.
Bittersweet moment today.
Went to Alice Springs for the day for work and it ■■■■■■ down for first time in forever there and everyone was stoked even though it was a miserly 12 degrees. This was happening whilst it rained for first time this season back up in Darwin. Did not have much to report in here last wet season so hopefully there is more these next 5 or so months.
