Ah ok - I’m with you. Not far from Sheedy’s digs then?
once the rains clear BAAKKEERRRR and SMJ will be walking the side streets between Ringwood North Primary and Ritchies SUPA IGA looking for IT
They can search but they will never find me.
It would be easy just search for the three men with a shopping trolley, a saxophone and a bible. From that you’d identify all three.
It’s the IGA, I never use a trolley there.
Can’t say I’ve been to the North Ringwood Shops since the bottle shop there stopped keeping Beerlao Dark. While they did, it was a regular stop-through on a Friday evening.
What’s the chippie like these days? Back in the late 80’s (when it was run by your traditional Greeks) it was the duck’s nuts…
Anyhow, it re-started and has now stopped again. Raining, that is…
There are two, one on the main st which is owned by some Koreans (Nth Ringwood F&C), pretty decent, and there is one owned by some Greeks, I believe, around the back next to the pizza shop (Hooked on Fish). That’s okay too.
Yeah rain has stopped atm.
Waitresses’ name is Effie, so that should be recommendation enough.
It’s stopped raining, so yay, but my deck cushions are still soaked so boooooo.
Hope your dream came true last night
It looked like it could, we hoped it would, it clouded over and it blew out to sea.
Still NO RAIN!
Very sorry to hear that - thought the radar looked promising.
Hoping the radar is actually delivering to you now. Fingers crossed.
Don’t go there.
Firstly, I reckon the F&C are pretty average (the Parkwood place is way way better) but there’s a bigger reason - being that the bloke that runs it is not a good dude. I was at those shops late at night one night walking past, and I catch the dude in the shop absolutely berating his wife (I assume). Like she was on the floor cowering while he’s standing over her going crazy, absolutely screaming and pointing and making violent gestures. It was horrific - so much so that I banged on the window and yelled at him to stop, then called the cops.
A bit full on I know, but please boycott!
I should travel up and build you a fence or retaining wall. Building a few at home now and it rains every damn time I start sinking post holes.
My lawn is a baromoter for rain like that. Every damn time I have half-a-day set aside to mow it, or decide to do so as a snap decision, the skies are guaranteed to open up. Lawns are a terribly, terribly over-rated thing (as are 1150 sq.m blocks…)
it is raining
Epic thunder atm in northern suburbs. Not much rain sadly.
Getting lots of hard rain.
It’s starting to depress me, honestly.
I do love a good storm but this constant rain gets me down.
No wonder the English are so glum.
I can deal with the rain, I’m just ■■■■■■ that all week we had wonderful weather while I was stuck in the ■■■■■■ office, and as soon as the long weekend hits - down it comes in torrents.
