Adrian Dodoro - Flankers into Mids since 2000 (Part 2)

They should have a much clearer idea being inside the club than we as outsiders would. They’re all experienced football coaches, administrators and have been in successful teams throughout their careers. If that isn’t enough to make an educated guess on where we are at, then I don’t know what could be.

How are those players, 2 of which are midfielders in a team with stacked midfield depth, in any way comparable to the one and only KPF for a bottom performing club alongside arguably the two best HBFs (at the time) for the same club?

Yes but they are not going to tell a random dude having a drive by few words anything about it, why the crap would he?

Hence why I said, ’ he seems to think,’ not that he knows.

It was an appalling decision. Like trying to convince a girlfriend who wants to break up with you to stay. They might stick around for another couple of weeks, but mentally they have already moved on.

Lol either you underrate those players or overrate theirs.

Do you realise you also proved my point? Why did we only have 1 kpf? Why can Sydney have midfield depth, but we can’t?

The way you are posting it though makes it sound like you are putting stock in all of that. It’s ridiculous. Some random bloke asks him a question about information from the club, all he is going to do is reply in random ways, not actually give an indepth analyses of the actual question. You cannot take anything from it at all, nothing.

IMO I believe we are finally addressing a lack of midfield depth. So much so that people are now questioning which ones to use in there more often than others. Cannot remember tha last time we had that problem.

I’m just taking my bro at his word. I do put some stock in what he would relay to me because he isn’t one to usually chat about the club unless questioned.
But what do we really know anyhow? We’ve been fed that must BS from the club in the last 20 years that the only thing I’ll actually believe is on field results. I’m not even totally sold on Scott yet, despite the recent wins.

I have no issue with the convo being relayed, but you are taking the throwing of hands, the statement “2 years”, as being indicative of something much deeper. It was a throw away action to a question Dodoro was never going to answer. Taking something out of that is the ridiculous part.

I am not a Dodoro fan…but geez, this place sometimes.

I guess you can either take the little nugget of interaction which Savio has provided us, or be a pedantic nuffy and poo poo it.

There is no “nugget” it is a random convo in passing, not some in depth discussion, it offers nothing other than some guy asked Dodoro some questions and Dodoro didn’t actually answer, just gave throw away lines.

I gather youre taking the second option.

I always enjoy reading these randon interactions. If anything they fuel speculation, which lets face it, is what this forum is all about.

I agree, that there’s not much to take from it on face value. I just happen to trust my brother’s opinion of the interaction and that’s what it boils down to in the end. Each can take from it what they choose.

Make sure you stay out of the Celebrity Deaths thread then, Mr Pedantic.

Ok thanks.

man, please dont dismiss people that are willing to offer some insights into the football club. its a great part of this forum and its worth hearing. even if you dont like it.

He offered a conversation, which is perfectly fine. The last thing he offered was insights into the club.

It was an opinion on something. Not sure why he cant share that with us.
