They are literally making it impossible to post, I had to log out and then log in again in order for the intrusive advertising to move to the top of my screen.

I’ve had the arrow at the top left corner . If you press/ click on it, it moves the ad higher up, partly solving the problem

I’ll take a look at the ad settings. Google tends to just magically inject a bunch of crap settings to include ads like these.
