Thought would be an idea if we get AFL assistance and it includes extra rookie spots that we can have a look at the delisted players who might be in the market as experienced pickups (not including Retired players or Free Agents). So far these are the players that have been delisted:

Collingwood

Joel Cochrane - Bobby Hill - Wil Parker - IIiro Smit - Lachie Sullivan.

Geelong

Tyson Stengle

Gold Coast

Cooper Bell - Asher Eastham - Caleb Graham

GWS

Jesse Hogan

Melbourne

Jack Henderson - Aidan Johnson - Andy Moniz-Wakefield - Riley Onley - Kalani White

North Melbourne

Callum Coleman-Jones - Brayden George - Robert Hanson JNR - Bailey Scott

Port Adelaide

Bennt Barrett - Mani liddy - Will Lorenz - Jackson Mead - Jacob Moss - Xavier Walsh

Richmond

Liam Fawcett - Dion Prestia - Kaleb Smith

St Kilda

Paddy Dow - Isaac Keeler - Patrick Said

Obviously more to come as clubs seasons end.

A few names that showed promise either early in their careers of as juniors there and could fill a position of need.

Stringer wasn’t offered a contract so should be in the list.

Briggs would be helpful, but it looks like he’s going to Richmond. I wouldn’t be livid with Lorenz being given a rookie spot, although his type isn’t exactly a need.

I thought Keeler was worth a shot with 2nd-3rd rounder in his draft, obviously never got close to being the next Paddy Ryder I was hoping

shrugs Lorenz is a year older than our rookies. I’m not married to the idea, but he seems a much better player than three out of four of them.

Edit: lol. I was only looking at the bottom of the list. We have way more rookies than I thought, some of them very mature indeed.

We’re desperate to get rid of all our list cloggers. I don’t see the point in bringing in other clubs’ rejects.

Obviously Hawthorn didn’t feel quite the same way.

I wouldn’t hold not breaking into Geelong’s midfield against a kid.
