All Things Podcast

I use castbox… dont know how it compares to others but it works for me.

for a trip down memory lane, pocket cast was the best podcast app ever

And then what happened? Looks like it’s still available. (But not rated highly)

Beyond Pod was a great app I used for many years, but looks like it has died too.

sold out (developer made bank tho so dont begrudge).

Never listened to the Howie Games before but wanted to listen to the Meg Lanning episode. I then went on and listened to the Jack Jones episode and yesterday he has released a follow up to the Jack Jones episode with Sarah Jones. Would recommend.

its amazing how many great sports people (players/athletes) have photographic/ eidetic memory

I’ve been trying an app called AntennaPod. So far, so good. Similar to Google Podcasts in that it only does podcasts and not videos or music streaming, which suits me.

does anyone else still just use the apple podcasts app?

I see no benefit in using spotify or podbean for podcasts, unless there are specific podcasts only there, which I don’t like as easy enough for content producers to share to all platforms.

I’ve got android, so no.

Anyone got any positive mental health, or anything to do with the every day dad kinda angle suggestions?

‎The Understanding Boys Podcast: Steve Biddulph AM on Apple Podcasts is good. I think he also talks about raising girls.

It was a bit of a roller coaster, and I’m not sure he felt much remorse.

Interesting how easy he was able to find the gaps in systems and obtain information.

But imagine being on the run from the Feds, and you’ve got Becky losing her ■■■■.

Becky sounds like the worse person possible to be on the run with.

That part where he was stealing homeless people’s identity, was equal parts horrible and genius.

Hamish Blake has a decent one I listened to a while ago. Basically chats to other Dads about their child raising philosophies.

will get back to you. know a few ppl that follow a dads one, will find out which one.

Joe Rogan #1979 Dr Aseem Malhorta (Cardiologist) part general health stuff, part covid good listen spoke well.

Mindful metal jacket. Comedian Joe List and just had a baby. Podcast is about mental health.

Not a mental health podcast but I WFH 99% of the time which can get a bit lonely and I love listening to Are you Gabage? Podcast. Best friends making each other laugh, answering listener questions about whether something is trashy or classy and interviewing comedians. It’s very radio host like and they just seem like very genuine down to earth guys.
