Because the nutjobs are happy amongst their fellow nutjobs.
The ones that hate the maga rallies aren’t big enough nutjobs to own guns let alone shoot one into a crowd.
I do always wonder how there hasn’t been a fringe lefty group that hasn’t gone militant, similar to the ones in the 70’s. Boggles the mind that trump still got a beating heart at this stage.

Less common to have groups committing mass shootings - as lone wolfs (where mental illness is a factor, as well as easy access to firearms).
Yes, in many respects, in some places, it is still the Wild West.
After living in the USA for twelve months, I came to the conclusion that it is a very different place to Australia. I was glad to come home. They are a different race to us.
Although, we of late, are certainly taking on many of the very same characteristics. Youth gangs etc, shootings, car jackings etc. Of late, how often now, do we hear of a shooting/s here? It’s happening almost every week now.
Its a tad more difficult to buy an AR15 in Australia. Lets hope it stays that way.

I watched the WACO documentary on Netflix yesterday. How assault weapons weren’t banned after that is beyond me!

Dont think ive seen that one will give it a watch but yep i agree. Did they interview any of the branch dividians? some of them still worship and belive in David Koresh till this day.

I had no idea that the Oaklahoma bombing was linked with with the Ruby Ridge and Waco trageties which caused Timothy McViegh do such a horrible thing
The GVA ultimately records 248 shootings over the Easter holiday weekend — at least 90 people killed and 228 more wounded.
Wow! And the carryon about 4 dying in that bridge collapse just shows how normal Americans regard shootings. Thoughts and prayers.

Why not increase the prices of guns if they wont get rid of them?
A standard hand gun will set you back about $400-$500 USD a weeks worth wage is enough to buy a gun in the US
Just jack up prices to like over $2k for a regular hand gun or AR
