They were in the middle of exams.
"Two people have died and eight are in critical condition, though stable, after a shooter entered an engineering building during final exams at Brown University in the US.
At a news conference, Providence police said the suspect was male and dressed in black clothing. He remains on the run."

- The suspect has not been found but police confirmed it is a male who was wearing black clothing
- He escaped the building on foot
