In some places in USA, you don’t even need a permit to carry a gun in open or concealed, in others places there are laws that it is illegal to have a concealed weapon so guns are on show everywhere.
I could have purchased a Glock 18 in Texas for about A$500 with an extra magazine and 1000 bullets, all in a nice case. Suppressor (silencer) available for extra $75. All I needed was a fixed address, and my Hotel was sufficient.
One of my Partners had a gun room with hundreds of weapon.

So I’m currently travelling thru Utah & Colorado and we adjusted our plans yesterday morning as it was raining in Salt Lake City. Just to get some perspective on the gun culture here we booked ourselves a lane at TNT. I’ve been to the US many times and have seen first hand the sheer volume of weapon ls sold and used. We only had to show our passport which they retained as collateral and they sorted us out with PPE / ammo & our choice of handguns / rifles. Firing the 10mm S&W Probably the highlight but looking around and just observing everyone there, it felt like a morning one the golf course if that makes sense.
The photos posted here are just to give some perspective on the gun culture with the min. Age restrictions probably the hardest to comprehend. I feel I have a better perspective on the US and the obsession with their weapons and am so happy to live where we do
