WHERES THE REPLAY I HAVE SOME MACCAS TO EAT
No Heppell, Bellchambers, Smith, Daniher, Ambrose.
Fantasia carrying as he has for several weeks; barely able to get up a trot.
Hurley with his old man hips getting scanned during the week and struggling to move before getting injured and seeing the game out from the bench.
Hooker literally having back spasms mid game and still grinding it out.
We were at half rat power all game much like the last few weeks, and nowhere close to our best and we still accounted for the âladder leader since round 11 and the biggest baddest toughest ânever-say-die team in the leagueâ.
Spare me.
â â â â â â â epic win.
Arms like Arnie and hair like the Predator
Just when you thought he couldnât get any betterer
He secretly loves us, he knows without our rivalry he never would have been himself.
I agree 100%, he made a comment last week about how we had shown resilience in beating both Sydney teams and he said âIâm not liking it one bitâ, clearly playing the villain.
Plenty of commentators donât like us but they wonât acknowledge our good stuff whereas Dermie will.
Watching at the game I thought Sheil was targeted, hit late at least 3 times. Didnât get a free the last one but Norf player might get pulled up by by MRO. (Hmmm who am I kidding)
Bbbbut Cunnungton and Ziebell???
Bbbut there physicality at the ball???
EAD fkn wankers, and that includes half the posters on this forum who indulged in performing â â â â â â â â on North Melbourne pre game instead of backing in there own teams boys.
Was so frustrating. All you need is a guy who sticks near Brown and gives him the slightest of nudges at the right time, and Brown is useless.
Turns out not everyone can accomplish that, though.
I have been away. Whatâs happened to Ambrose?
Honestly could count on my hands how many North supporters were in attendance outside of there cheer squad today.
How on earth are they a functioning Melbourne club.
He trained at The Hangar today.
As everyone who did VFLW, VFL and AFL games today would know.
(Mo22ie trained too.)
We won the hardball 70-30 I reckon against this supposed âhardâ side.
They sniped ok but were weak as pi ss at the real stuff.
Eat my balls North.
Cunnington will go for his snipe too.
We won, great. But we need to make sure that when weâre well ahead, as we were against Norf, we run away with it. Instead, we played âsafeâ football and almost lost. Thatâs not our style. Attack and attack and keep attacking. (Kicking straight would help, too!)
I hate the kent but he is a friggin superstar of the game and if he played for us we would cream our pants. Nearly every week he covers the most ground and is a workhouse. His work rate is aecond to none and has a brilliant grab on him. I donât like the whole run up schtick but it gets the job done
There was one near me. Being a deadset flog all game. An Essendon bloke behind him was like âpay me $5 and Iâll deck himâ. I saw money exchange hands. No one got decked unfortunately though.
Final minute, thought weâd get a point, then MAYBE another in the dying seconds, but probably end up with a draw. Didnât feel weâd lose the game after the 2nd Q. Also didnât think even 43 would kick that goal, and itâs GOTY for mine. Pressure? Pfft. Genuine superstar is Tippa.
Commentators almost barracking for those sniping farkers really â â â â â â me off early, which made the end all the sweeter. Really, Ben Brown almost single-handedly got them home (aided by the prik who took out Hurley).
Z Clarke, more of that and you could be a No.1 ruck. Great game. Injury clouds can have a silver lining - whoâs next to get a chance to step up (Hurley to miss some?). I guess the way to test depth is to plumb it, and that generally hasnât happened until we are forced to.
We definitely appear to be building good resilience - would have lost 2 of the last 3 in recent years. Still need to reduce turnovers and hit more forward targets to really capitalise and improve %.
Big win, well done Bombers.
tweaked his quad in the warmup before the gws (?) game
Was a good result given how many players we lost or played injured/crap: several players got a âoh, youâre playing?â reaction from me today.
Ok thank you. What a shame. Heâs great.
Had about 8 Norf supporters, looked like a family, sitting together next to me (mustâve been half their supporter base) all got up and left the second Tippa goaled.
And one lippy/cocky â â â â â â â directly in front went deathly quiet with his head in his hands after it, he was getting sprayed from all angles by the good bomber supporting folk.
