Don’t buy Bosch. Mine is a shocker. Just fiddly, always throwing errors.
Get an LG or if you want German get a Miele.

I’ve had a Bosch dishwasher for 5 years with no issues. Had a Bosch washing machine for 10 years with no issues.
Plus 1 (or more for Bosch)
But….think you have to check through their product range. As there are some quirks between their products.
We bought the lower spec one because it has actual buttons. Rather than some flaky looking sensor.
Also have Bosch washer and heat pump dryer. All been great
Yeah my issues only started after 5 years.
And I clean it regularly. Still causes finicky issues.
The LG one I had at my last house was much better.
any feedback on the two drawer options?
dont?
I assume you’re talking about the F&P “Dish Draw” things?
yep!
so no?!
Another vote for Bosch. Ours is approaching 20yo and still functioning perfectly.
I own a Bosch Series 8 washer and dryer, and they are phenomenal.
Get one that looks nice in the kitchen and remember to run it on hot cycles (pots and pans) each month at a minimum.
What annoys me with my Bosch is it always throws errors when I’m trying to load pots and pans into it - even leaving plenty of space.
Machines from Korea are just as good. You don’t need to spend the money on German appliances. Old thinking.
It’s worth taking a look at the layout.
If you’re putting it intg a kitchen where you need to transport the knives and forks a step or two away - get one with a basket.
If the dishwasher is handy to your knife and fork drawer - get one with the lay flat shelf for knives and forks at the top.
I can concur, LG dishwasher is a solid buy. I just bought an LG Quadwash 60cm for my kitchen and it’s been sensational thus far; dishes have never been as clean and the app connectivity has been seemless.
Koala, pls.
These are terrible
experience with a miele was good for 10 years (moved) just make sure you run a cleaning cycle every 3-6 months depending on your usage
Cleaning cycle?
That’s like cleaning your shower. It’s already getting cleaned.
If you hammer a dishwasher on fast clean it doesn’t get hot enough to clean out all the fats from the filters/pipes.
So the trick is to run it on the hot cycle at least once a month.
Don’t get ASKO. Expensive junk with crap service support, doesn’t clean very well, cycles are hours long.
