Meh, it’s just my view. If you like them, good for you, you will have a wide selection to choose from.
Genuine question…why do you go to the movies?
I don’t anymore.
Then why worry about what the studios make and release?
What if you used to love cinema, and now you think it’s crap??
What if you do?..I suppose you just don’t go.
I love going to the cinema and am generally able to find something to watch.
Not everything I go to see hits the mark…the last Thor movie was poor (imo) but Top Gun Maverick was brilliant.
I just don’t get the need to complain about everything that gets released.
All the movie makers want to make money but quite often they just don’t quite hit the mark.
Eg…big money was spent on The Last Duel…big name actors, big budget, original screenplay but it flopped at the box office.
And each time there’s a flop of something original, it pushes the money people to back things that have a better chance of making them a profit…such as Superhero movies.
I love movies from the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s.
The past 10 years, I can’t believe how bad it’s gotten. If you don’t like superhero ■■■■, you’re in trouble.
Agreed. I reckon I spend more time trying to find a movie than the actual duration of a movie. Slim pickings!
You have things around the wrong way. Super hero movies came along because the action movie genre was tired and uninteresting.
I have seen Ford V. Ferrari 4 times now, and l love the Ferraris from that era. Ken Miles was also one of my 2 favourite racing car drivers during that era.
You basically gotta switch languages. lots of good action and drama made in different markets.
hollywood is a bit towards binjuice atm
That’s interesting…I reckon I’ve watched more movies from the last decade than any decade prior.
How old are you?
Probably different taste.
A top 10 list from the 2010’s compared to the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s wouldn’t look good at all for me.
Like someone turning up to a black tie event in shorts and thongs.
EDIT:
Hmmm. Maybe it wouldn’t be THAT embarrassing for the 2010’s.

Because the studios could make ■■■■ that id pay money to see and I would like to go to the cinema from time to time to watch them.
A lot of those were made quite a while ago now, even fewer actually competing with marvel produced stuff.
They were all released between 2010-2019 as per the post from TDSpartan that I was responding to.
The MCU movies started in 2008.
I appreciate the effort in putting together a list. I’ve seen about half of them, and of that half I’d consider the majority of them to be ‘good’ but not classics. Some not even close (Oblivion,Creed, Looper etc). Some are classics for me (my initial list).
Other decades are packed full of classics, 80’s in particular. Arnold’s (The GOAT) 80’s resume alone can half pack the 80’s list.
Hit me up with an 80s list…and I’ll give my appraisal.
And I know that most of those movies wouldn’t get"classic" status…but then again, I believe that too many movies do get that tag.
I would put Zero Dark Thirty and Spotlight in my all time list of greatest movies…and quite possibly Inception as well.
PS…just for clarity…what is your view on the MCU/Superhero movies that have been so prevalent in the last 10-15 years?
