Hartnett & Blooms best work.
Just got home from watching Amsterdam…all star ensemble cast including Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Robert DeNiro, Rami Malek, Mike Myers, Chris Rock, Zoey Saldana and Michael Shannon.
For those of you who wanted a non superhero movie…this might be it.
It’s an unusual movie in that it seems to take a long time to get to the point.
It was enjoyable but not something I would race to go back and see again.
6.5-7/10
Good call. It’s a fantastic movie. One of Ridley Scott’s best.
Did Eric have plastic then?
Off subject really. But it must have produced useful info in the end. Bin Laden might confirm it.
As @swoodley says, probably not the right thread for that convo.
Baby Driver is on Netflix currently for those that haven’t seen it. Great getaway driver heist film, with all the car chases choreographed to music. And you probably read that as car chases with music playing in the background… I legitimately mean the epic stunts were choreographed precisely to the beat of the soundtrack. It’s a great fun flick and one of the most impressive bits of recent directing.
Only the first half imo. Falls away in the 2nd
The opening is all time.
And the coffee trip scene is a masterpiece.
This.
It went from an awesome bank robbery, car chase, love story…to unkillable T2/Zombie movie.
Ruined it for me.
Plus hard to watch now with Spacey being outed for being a creep.
i think im most offended as bank robberies/heists are my favourite movie genre.
What’s the best one to watch? I only Just saw ‘Dog day afternoon’ during covid lockdown, and that’s got to be a classic
Money Heist? La Casa de Papel.
Heat.
the town
den of thieves
point break
inside man
Heat is by far the best one
Den of thieves is pretty good
The bank job is pretty good
Triple 9 is ok
Inside man is good, and has a top notch cast
Ambulance is good
Does Ronin fall into this category? Great car chase.
Yeah I reckon it does. Very good movie
