At the movies - From the couch

Dog ■■■■, no…but definitely excrement of some sort. Maybe of a herbivore, cow ■■■■ perhaps.

I wasn’t very good barnz mate.
Each to their I own I suppose.

Really? Oh well. They’re wrong. I agree with you. It was a nothing book and became a nothing film.

My memory of it is that Marisa Berenson, who’s the main female lead, doesn’t actually say a single line.

It lost its way because of the obsession with framing, technique and lighting . I recall something connected with attempts to use thousands of candles to light one scene. There are some superb scene settings.

They did use candles. I think it was all the interior night scenes. They certainly had a special look about them.

no one said it was must watch. if you can’t read that, its on you

Don’t reckon i said that either barnz. I said it was getting a lot of love.

Die Hard comparisons and such. So I had high expectations. So I guess it IS on me lol
My christmas is ruined now

That’s it.
barnz has ruined Christmas.

Shawshank did nothing for me. Instantly forgettable.

Tend to agree with this one. It’s well acted and tells a decent enough story, but lacks any meaningful character arch’s or development. It’s a perfectly fine movie to watch, but not particularly fulfilling.

I think the Green Mile is a substantially more interesting prison based movie.

Oz does it best, but that’s not a movie.

would say its underrated these days

Again, it’s a fantastic book, like a lot of the King stuff.

There is only one prison movie thats worthy!

I watched it last night on the back of recommendation on here. It was alright, the scene in the car was memorable. Worth a watch 7/10
