At the movies - From the couch

Would like to watch this but just wanted to check first that nothing awful happens to the wolf. ??

I think there was a film a few years back that was a dramatisation of the Kursk disaster, wasn’t there? Can’t remember its name though.

K-19: The Widowmaker

I watched Train to Busan today. It’s the first zombie I have seen. I must say it will also be the last. Not my cup of tea.

watched the new Rosamund Pike/Peter Dinklage offering “I Care a Lot” on prime last night.

found it pretty enjoyable and would throw it in the “got nothing else to watch, so give it a whirl” pile.

there are some stressful moments, but you’re safe to watch

Tbf not all of it is set on a sub.

The sub parts were by far the best parts of the movie. The idea of plausible scenarios, SEAL insertion and the political aspects of the movie were laughable.

The whole premise was a bit ridiculous

Agree with Koala, am fairly sure you’ll like it.

Saw The Dry this week & really enjoyed it. Stays pretty true to the book (except Eric Bana does not have blonde hair ). Great location to depict the Australian landscape suffering from drought. (Sadly) Having said that there have been vast areas of our great land which have suffered similarly. Hopefully this season has helped a few.
Anyway, I think if you’ve read the book you won’t be disappointed with the movie.

That was a bad movie, and l generally like sub movies.

Down Periscope? :sunglasses::+1:

World war z was good.

The book is something really special FYI. Short enough to read in a weekend. Nothing like the movie. One of the best things I’ve read.

Thanks @Koala & @miss_ellie . I watched Alpha last night & enjoyed it… well most of it (a few look away moments).

Disney plus drop their catalogue of movies from 7pm today for those interested.

Their pricing structure is fairly respectable as well.
