I wouldn’t call films about music Musicals. A Star Is Born, is not a musical. When you have characters singing the actual plot of the film, that is a musical.
Is Grease a Musical then?
Some I suppose are semi Musicals.
I thought Grease was the word
I once saw there was a film set in Istanbul about a guy working with Al-Jazeera .
I got over to Highpoint and the girl at the ticket sales said “are you aware this is a Bollywood film”. I said that I’d never seen a Bollywood film and I was interested in seeing the Istanbul cityscapes.
Anyhow, half an hour in and onto the third song and dance routine, that was it for me. Up and out of the theatre.
I generally won’t watch musicals, but funnily enough,I didn’t mind the Baz Luhrmann version of Romeo and Juliet.
Haven’t seen too many others since my very early days with Sound of Music and My Fair Lady. Did enjoy South Pacific on TV.
Surely everyone likes Little Shop of Horrors?
Blues brothers is my favourite musical.
Why the ■■■■ are they singing?
My highschool did little shop of horrors as one of their drama performances and it was one of the most diabolical things I had ever seen to that point in my life.
Ambitious, certainly.
They blew their budget on a surprisingly decent prop of that huge plant thing.
And tell me Yoshi’s island didnt steal this boss from the aforementioned plant thing from little shop of horrors.
Ghost Shark…. It’s been a long Friday
The Man With The Golden Gun is so bad it makes Moonraker look like 2001 A Space Odyssey.
Yeah man with the golden gun is not great, which is a shame. The location and the villain are tip top. Writing and plot boring as ■■■■.
Does have one of the best car stunts of all time in it tho.
And Roger Moore just flipped a car over a ramp complete with slide whistle effects. Deary me.
Big improvement, you can actually appreciate the stunt, where as the film version is just looney tunes.
Roger was as bad as Bond, as he was good as The Saint.
In conclusion, he should have stuck to the Volvo P1800, and left the Aston Martin alone.
Team America and the South Park movie are my favourite musicals of all time!
I dunno, I didn’t mind him as James bond. They all bring something different to the franchise- as much as some of the movies may stink, I always find them entertaining and good for a laugh or two.
