There’s plenty on that worst list that are far better than the majority of actors absolute best.
I think that’s the thing with Hanks, you may not personally like some of his movies, but if you are honest, you’d be hard pressed to say his performance was bad/or that you could not understand why others rated it highly.
How about Money Pit? Only saw that recently and enjoyed it.

when ricky Gervais called out tim allen as a nobody, hanks spouted all sorts of defences of allen and the institution. which for me hanks called out himself as a sycophant that says all the right stuff around gong time.
hes a good comedian but that’s about it.
