I saw Snowpiercer yesterday. And was quite impressed.
Watched The Counsellor with fassbender and some other high profile actors, found it really slow and just did nothing for me

l saw it a couple of weeks ago. Not that bad, just nothing really great about it either.
Counsellor was okay but just went for too long.
Hunger Games 2 was horrible.
American Hustle was good.
Hunger Games is morphing into the twilight saga.
Love watching Jennifer Lawrence fail at everything she attempts and cry in every second scene? Then you'll love The Hunger Games.

Watched this on the Bris - Mel flight. Having walked past this bloke and seen him around town dozens of times, I never realised the impact he actually had on surfing. Was a great documentary with a few gnarly old surfers telling stories about a local legend. 10 toes on the nose.

I'm not really that sure what's so good about his films. Didn't think much of The Darjeeling Express, although Natalie Portman did nude up in the short before the film. I don't mind his films...don't think they're great, but they're better than the utter tedium Jim Jarmusch churns out.
