Australian Policies -- from 2025 Federal election

you seem to have this idea that if policy and outcome is not 100% perfect it’s no good to try.
it’s exactly what happened when Labor said they would get a registered nurse into every nursing home. the liberals scoffed and said it was impossible and a waste of time.
same goes for energy policy . just because the exact target isn’t met at the exact right time doesn’t mean it’s the wrong thing to do or a failure . it’s seems that way according to your logic and ideals .

Brad Battin sounds like a promising future Premier.
He’s promising us CLEAN gas.

Meanwhile in Goldstein AEC showing 8192* envelopes still to be processed. Postals going 35/65. Teals/Libs
So, Zoe needs to put in a call to the ABC to check job vacancies if it continues at that rate.

  • 8192 Sounds appropriate for the digital age. A bit sus. Yesterday there were ~ 2000 left.

It is the right of the Labor Caucus to sack its Leader. Rudd was replaced and it was the correct action for them to take. Then Caucus went to jelly and put him back in, which was stupid.

Tezza, don’t be naive. C’mon.

It’s just like the left who blame the LNP for Australia’s current debt position, deliberately and misleadingly not admitting it was largely the result of getting Australia through a Pandemic and saving millions of jobs. You know that.

Jiminy cricket.

Left do not give a fark about Government debt. Debt is good, gets things done.

Ironic that Labor has been doing budget surplus.

I know that inflation surged post covid because there was a lot of money swishing around in the economy , some of which of which was necessary ie job keeper, some of which was people couldn’t really do anything for 3 years , interest rates were kept low people don’t have to repay debt even GST, so it’s a bit then it’s a bit rich to blame the incoming government for the inevitable consequences that followed. you haven’t explained yet what Labor policy caused these problems ?

that was another in my list I’d like to explain how that was no good

Concise, and an inarguable finish to a debate.

in addition liberal government doubled the debt even before covid , can you explain or refute that ?
morrison inserted a fuel excise hand grenade into the economy before he was turfed out that also was inflationary, care to refute that?

Former Senator Reynolds said the problem is that they aren’t listening to us.
Maybe the Libs could start by listening to the voters in their electorates.

Downer embraces the saying “Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel”.

I guess these are the kind of achievements of his ancestors he wishes to cherish.

I’ve never read anything he’s written. He’s not very intelligent is he? And certainly not right about much, which was always on display.

Imagine sounding a clarion call for the LNP to be somehow soulful and even poetic in their appeal to what they call ordinary Australians. After decades of pretending to be the only party you could possibly trust to be ‘managerial’ it’s now time to forget about such tedious things and find their inner majesty.

In essence though he’s just another idiot calling for the party of the silver spoon to go more Trump. What defines them is the absence of imagination. You can’t suddenly discover that.

Postals arrive in the post and are added to the pile. They increase in number
