In Flinders, currently AEC says Zoe McKenzie 3117 in front of the Indi on a TPP basis, based on 80% counted. The AEC has abandoned its Lib Vs Labor preference count to move to a Lib Vs Indi count.

On the current figures Flinders is a Lib hold.

In Melbourne, Sarah Witty (Labor) is holding a 2577 vote lead over Brandt. This looks difficult for Bandt now.

Nats leading by 1840 with 38% TCP counted.

Also, Antony Green seemed pretty confident Bandt will hold Melbourne. It’s only 12% TCP counted, with some Green leaning places (Prahran, South Yarra) not yet included. Will be close, though.

I wonder how much it was to do with messages being irrelevant in Qld. One specifically was the increase in electricity bills they keep hammering. Apart from the fact a lot have solar up here, the previous state government gave us all $1000 or $1500 (not sure how much) off our electricity bills as well as the Feds giving us $300+.
So to talk of soaring bills is just not relevant when you don’t even look at your bill as it’s always in credit.
And it extends to if they can’t get that message right how can you believe anything else they say.

One of Dutton’s problem this time round was that he spent so little time campaigning in his electorate. Ali France was everywhere.
Also, Dutts misread the room in Victoria. Every time he came here he delivered votes to Labor or Independents .

It would be interesting to know if someone asked infrastructure Victoria to come up with 10 projects that can be built within 10 years that would benefit all of Victoria and your budget was $216 billion dollars what they would come up with?

And Dutton left his electorate and went to a bash in Sydney when everyone was sandbagging and battening down for a cyclone.
Went down like a lead balloon up here.

Then the Kirribilli as his home if he were PM instead of the modest Lodge. It would have meant he was not on the Queensland electoral roll
A Sydneysider representing Dickson.
At least Albo’s second home is in Sydney NSW close to his electorate.

Yes a lot of our workers would probably use the airport link but just depends on how deep we cut jobs at Melbourne. Plan is to cut about a thousand or so jobs in Melbourne and move parts of the operation to Western Sydney when it opens

Sky News Aust ARE NOT credible sources, Ralph.

My small Hawke booth went to Labor, and the Libs on the day, handing out HTV cards, were a non-local Brethren family. The dad was aggressive and their whole setup was weird. I’m sure they voted Family First first in the sanctity of the cardboard standing desk.

The Legalise Cannabis rep was lovely.

Just got two election campaign flyers delivered by the postie. One ALP, one Lib.
They wasted their money going through the Post Office.

Wilson now 348 in front of Daniel.

Ryan still 1001 votes in front

I had to push my way past the Lib Brethren lot., they stood in front of the others doing HTV, making it hard to pass the HTV.
The ALP guy must have been on a pit stop. The Legalise Cannabis guy was handling ALP HTV for him.
I usually take all the HTV (empathy for volunteers) but this time I refused the Lib ones being pushed into my hand.

There’s a fair amount of specialised light industry that has sprung up around Tulla, not directly connected to the airport. They would be servicing the housing estates that have spread out that way.

No.

But I believe if you are working and studying in same field and pay course fees up front you can claim them.
