Australian Policies -- from 2025 Federal election

Fremantle retained by the ALP. Just.

He wanted to return to parliament because there were no job offers in the corporate world, nobody wanted him. He’s never had a real job, he worked at the IPA, then human rights commission then parliament and if you meet him he’s as slimy and arrogant as you would imagine.

The big hitters like Frydenburg get the $400k plus jobs and can’t be enticed back, Wilson had nothing.

He does deserve some political dues, though. Not disagreeing with any point you have made.

For him to win back a seat after losing it the previous election, and no swing back toward the party across the state, suggests he ran a good campaign.

Nasty Sectarian intervention in Goldstein.

I agree with this , credit where it is due

Be careful Green won’t approve

Please elaborate on how losing a greens seat in Parliament does the country a huge favour :man_facepalming:

Bandt wasn’t a big fan of Lawry’s favourite group of people.

I won’t post further detail as that just creates a shitfight that leads to posts being deleted and potential suspensions.

PM me if you want to.

He went noticeably quieter on this issue after their poor showing in the QLD election and only referenced it during the campaign when prompted by the media. Was probably too late by then. The die had been caste.

Tbh i think she’s done the Greens a favour.

Yeah…but I was only commenting on why Lawry doesn’t like Bandt…not why he lost his seat.

Will not be missed, quite frankly. Found her barely more coherent than Bob Katter.

Everything I’ve seen indicates she’s in the box seat (albeit still a tight race) for the sixth senate spot in Tas.
