Australian Policies -- from 2025 Federal election

I wouldn’t be objectifying her by just commenting on her bust size. She’s a jujitsu expert so will probably kick the suitcase out of you.

I like how she was a shop assistant on Glenferrie Road. It tells me she’s mixed with the full spectrum of Australian society and quite likely saved every paycheck to put herself through Oxford.

Some producer is getting fired after letting that go to air

We used to shoot .303’s in the school cadets, using the handball court as a shooting range.

I think handball courts were the exclusive domain of CBC schools…oversize outdoor squash courts.

I had to research him and unfortunately he’s from the Right faction so little likelihood that he’s going to offer any sort of the social progressiveness that I’m looking for from the Liberals. But I saw an interview with Tassie senator Jonathon Duniam yesterday and he 1) spoke well and seemed comfortable in a press situation and 2) had the political acumen , nous and forthright thinking to state that the Liberal leadership made catastrophic errors in relatability and who / when was allowed to speak on certain issues. I can’t help but think he may have referred to trotting out millionaires sons as spokesmen for how tough life is. My first instinct was “get this bloke into some sort of profile position, if not into a lower house seat”.

But yeah, looking at his background he may not change anything. At least he’s honest enough to not bother with Prices’ “this is all the medias fault” bullshit.

Calls himself ‘Jonno’. On his posters.

They created a literal DOGE role for Price and now howl that it was all unfairly done by Labor and Greens :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Is the ‘leadership tilt’ a position? Asking for a friend.

Is ADAMant he’ll stay on as leader if they’ll have him. Can’t see how that works but I suppose they aren’t as beholden to the same tides of tradition as the others.

Yeah nah, you can’t have a leader who’s not sitting in parliament. He can try to win the seat back in 3 years, and then put his hat in the ring.

I suspect The Greens regain Melbourne in three years just because the inevitable ALP drop (granted, there will likely be a sophomore surge)/LNP increase in primary will work in their favour, but whether that is Bandt or someone else, who knows.

Ideally someone else.

this week just keeps getting better

What is a sophomore surge?

Edit: NVM just looked it up

Can just see Wilson taking on the leadership role as an exit strategy. Suck up to the big donors. Keep their message bubbling along. Lose his seat at the next election and then take up a gig in corporate world. He doesn’t strike me as a particularly smart or hard working individual.
