I think Susssssan got a bit confused on AM just now: the Coalition will cut power prices AND reduce emissions more than Labor.

Well I just think the brochures aren’t as well laid out as they could’ve been and that’s why I’m voting for a racist fish and chip shop Trump smoking grifter this time

Does 2050 need to be delivered by Jan 1 or Dec 31?

Will determine if the Coalition’s plan works!

Biggest glass cliff since Kirner.

The exact opposite of this is the actual truth, LNP supporting the fossil fuel lobby and pumping up our power bills to transfer wealth to them.

ABC radio reporting that VIC Lib leader Brad Battin will be challenged tomorrow morning. Jess Wilson, shadow Treasurer, wielding the knife.

I wouldn’t have any confidence in her aim. She doesn’t appear to have eyes.

Jess Wilson does have the talent to be a state premier. She’s a moderate liberal (whatever that now means in 2025) which probably plays better in Victoria than the conservative liberal of Brad Battin.

But it seems a big risk as Battin is holding up well in the polls. Internal instability (or even the perception thereof) can be electoral poison. But, equally, if the LNP are to be a multiple term government in Victoria, Jess Wilson seems the sort of candidate who could deliver that.

She is inexperienced, though, as a first-termer. Don’t know she has much of a profile, yet.

Battin could be paying the price appearing a one trick pony with the focus on crime. The recent Govt sentencing changes cut his lunch somewhat.

But that’s one more policy than usual from the LNP!

even then “tough on crime” isn’t a policy, it’s a slogan

Well, the AFR piece on this gives an interesting perspective. Potentially somewhat inline with your second sentence:

Why do political parties always throw up a female leader when the ■■■■ is hitting the fan / horse has already bolted?

And a train wreck appearance on 7.30 tonight. Precious minutes I will not get back.
