Sooner Bev meets her maker, (Obviously Satan ) the better.
I have met some very nasty Politicians in my life, with the top three Sophie Mirabella, Sarah Henderson and Beverley McArthur.
Mrs McArthur is the winner by a long way, I feel sorry for Jess Wilson to be on her hook.
My Big Sister is a friend of Ms Wilson and speaks very highly of her.
All they’ve done is change the leader. It’s not as if anything else behind the scenes have changed.
I will agree, she could hardly be worse than Battin, so that in itself is good. A stronger opposition is needed because that makes stronger government.
If only that applied to EFC.
I would not rely on that.
John Pesutto was a moderate and we all know how that panned out. New jockey, same horse.
The liberal party is very unserious
She’s good talent, far better than Battin was and that will take her a long way.
She’s pushed her very non-scary voting record which will also go well for her, but how well those positions stand up in the heat of an election is what will count.
In my opinion, more…experienced conservative voters will hold their nose about Wilson voting yes to the voice, especially if they think she’s their ticket to power.
However…if the Liberal Party think millennials will just back one of their own even if they turn out to be ‘problematic’, then they simply haven’t been paying attention.
Vic libs have nothing to differentiate themselves from labor that could win them enough votes to challenge.
That and they have too many right wing loonies.
Unelectable.
And the same applies federally.
I was going to say … for Victoriands it looks like it all comes down to a crunch decision: centre-part bob vs centre-part bob.
At least Battin can be proud he outlasted a lettuce.
Obviuously he knows the Lib attitude to the truth. It was a “non-core promise”.
Must have been a “non-core” threat.
Edit: it’s too annoying to read every post before producing zingers. My apologies, @Albert_Thurgood. On the day after your 180th birthday of all things.
“Guarantees”
If it was down to the party leader alone, maybe you could mount a case to pick the lib bob head and that voters might vote for her.
In reality though this is not possible with all the loonies in the libs.
* not a guarantee
I think he realised that no-one actually gave a fark if he quit, and we would have to find a real job. Ex-Liberal Leader has no value on a resume as there are so many of them.

All Labor need to do is not having any massive catastrophe and they’ll ■■■■ it in, in Vic. There’s not really any motivation for them to do anything.
